Preparing for the Learning Cycle
Learn
Our academic process is guided by collaboration and continuous improvement. Our academic lead and instructional specialist work closely with teachers during Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) to review and refine curriculum units and standards. We use data-driven insights to inform our lesson planning, which is aligned with state standards and emphasizes both conceptual understanding and procedural fluency. This approach supports application-based learning and ensures students are equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary for success in college and career pathways.
Find
Our academic process is grounded in collaboration, standards alignment, and real-world application. Instructional leaders and teachers work together in Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) to design and refine curriculum units using a Standards Planning Template aligned with state standards.
Plan
During unit creation, teachers work together in Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) to develop instructional strategies and small groups based on student data. These groups are aligned to ensure targeted support and skill development.
Assign
We integrate formative assessment lessons from our curriculum to align with unit standards, designing practice and assessments. All instructional components are curated and deployed through our learning management system, which serves as a central hub for educational technology. Through this platform, we assign units to students and personalize standards using customized learning and one-on-one instruction to support differentiated instruction and individualized learning paths.
